Hoenig, Norton Join FDIC Board

Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 5:11 PM EDT) -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. on Monday swore in two new members of its board of directors, after their nominations by President Barack Obama were confirmed by the U.S. Senate last month.

Thomas Hoenig, a former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City was sworn in for a six-year term, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. banker Jeremiah Norton was sworn in to fill out the remainder of a term that expires in July 2013, according to the FDIC.
