9 More Partners Bid Farewell To Dewey

Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 6:46 PM EDT) -- Nine more partners are leaving Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP — two joining McDermott Will & Emery LLP, five said to be joining Dechert LLP and one each joining Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Cozen O'Connor — bringing Dewey's 2012 departure count to 60, according to Monday reports.

Dewey has seen a steady stream of attorneys departing since January, after the firm deferred salaries and asked its partners to take pay cuts. In early March, the firm announced layoffs of 5 to 6 percent of its attorneys...
