Ex-Tyco Director Says Oral Deposition Could Kill Him
Law360 (August 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former executive at Tyco International Ltd. reiterated Tuesday that the stress of a deposition could cause him severe physical injury and even death, and that he was therefore unavailable to testify orally in the massive securities fraud lawsuit against the company.
Peter Slusser, who served on Tyco's board of directors and compensation committee from 1997 to 2003, first requested a protective order that would keep him from being deposed this May.
