House Mulls Controversial FDA Mission Change

Law360, New York (April 18, 2012, 7:47 PM EDT) -- Despite warnings from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the pharmaceutical industry not to add controversial measures to critical user fee legislation, the House is still considering major changes to the FDA's mission statement, which FDA officials said Wednesday would undermine its public safety work.
