Judge Balks At ViroPharma's Bid To Halt Vancocin Generics

Law360, Washington (April 19, 2012, 8:52 PM EDT) -- ViroPharma Inc.'s bid to halt the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's recent approval of three generic versions of its gastrointestinal antibiotic Vancocin hit a possible snag Thursday when a Washington federal judge said even a temporary hold on the agency's decision also could cause significant harm to the generics makers.
