Enviros File DOE Protest Over Cheniere LNG Export Project

Law360, New York (April 20, 2012, 4:30 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club on Thursday challenged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's approval of Cheniere Energy Inc.'s proposed natural gas liquefaction facilities in Louisiana, telling the U.S. Department of Energy that FERC's environmental review ignored a rise in hydraulic fracturing that the facilities would cause.
