House Passes Trademark Dilution Bill

Law360 (April 20, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a bill that would make it easier for owners of famous brands to sue for trademark dilution.

The bill, known as the “Trademark Dilution Improvement Act of 2005” (H.R. 683), was approved 411-8 after being passed last month by the full Judiciary Committee.
