USDA Amplifies Testing, Guidance For Livestock Slaughters

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 3:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture last week issued a compliance guide for preventing preslaughter livestock chemical residues from contaminating meat, poultry and egg products, and said it would increase testing on animals from producers under U.S. Food and Drug Administration injunctions.
