Amnesty Says Nigeria Spill Far Larger Than Shell Reported

Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Amnesty International on Monday said a 2008 oil spill in Nigeria's Niger Delta was at least 60 times larger than Royal Dutch Shell PLC has reported, while a multimillion-dollar lawsuit filed by thousands of the nation's citizens looms against the oil giant in London's High Court.
