Interior Weighs In Against Mississippi River Hydro Project

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 5:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Tuesday to deny a preliminary permit for a 125-megawatt hydropower project on the Mississippi River near St. Louis, citing its potential impact on certain endangered fish and river wildlife species.
