Calderon Pushes For Mexico To Be Added To TPP Talks

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 6:26 PM EDT) -- For the second time this month, Mexican President Felipe Calderon called Tuesday for his country to be allowed to join negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, a request the U.S. and other parties to the agreement have been considering.

In a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, Calderon said that including Mexico and its growing economy in the TPP talks would benefit all the parties to the agreement.
