Dewey, LeBoeuf Merger Creates $1B Giant

Law360 (August 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two large New York law firms have agreed to merge in a deal that would create a firm spanning 12 countries with 1,300 attorneys and revenues of about $1 billion.

The merger of Dewey Ballantine LLP and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP would likely take effect by October if it wins partner approval, the firms said in a joint release Monday.
