Fresenius Makes $4B Offer For German Hospital Operator

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 2:11 PM EDT) -- A unit of Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA on Thursday put in a bid of €3.1 billion ($4.1 billion) for German hospital operator Rhoen-Klinikum AG, proposing to create a €6 billion industry giant that would be the country's largest private operator.
