House Bill Aims To Publicize Food, Product Recalls

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 5:16 PM EDT) -- Seeking to establish a centralized process for educating consumers about food and product recalls, Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., on Thursday introduced a bill in the House that would require federal enforcement agencies to make public more detailed and accessible consumer information.
