Boart Tells ITC Imported Drill Bits Infringe Its Patents

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 9:09 PM EDT) -- Drilling company Boart Longyear Co. lodged a complaint Wednesday with the U.S. International Trade Commission, alleging several companies are importing drill bits that infringe its patents into the country.

Boart asked the ITC to initiate a Section 337 investigation into the unlawful importation into the U.S. of certain drill bits and products containing those bits that infringe its patents, according to the complaint.
