FDA Exploring '1-Page Solution' to Med Guide Size

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 7:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration signaled Wednesday it will attempt to dramatically simplify documents outlining drug risks after a national pharmacy organization complained about the mounting burden of dispensing the materials.

FDA regulations require pharmacists to give so-called medication guides to patients picking up prescription drugs, and the number and size of guides has exploded over the years.
