PFF Bancorp Wins Court's OK For Liquidation Plan

Law360, New York (April 30, 2012, 1:57 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge blessed PFF Bancorp Inc.’s liquidation plan on Thursday, more than three years after federal regulators seized the holding company's savings bank in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey confirmed a Chapter 11 plan that will distribute about $18 million to the company’s creditors, including Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., which holds $35 million in claims related to PFF's pension plan.
