Enagas To Split $352M Bill For Stake In Chilean LNG Plant

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 7:25 PM EDT) -- U.K.-based oil and gas giant BG Group PLC on Friday announced plans to sell its 40 percent equity stake in a Chilean regasification plant to Spain's Enagas SA and its unnamed prospective partner for $352 million.

The two have reached an agreement for a two-step sale, each worth a 20 percent interest in Chile's GNL Quintero SA and priced at $176 million, they said. Pending regulatory approval, the firms expect to close the transaction by the end of the year.
