TransCanada To Spend $7B On Energy Projects By 2015

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 3:26 PM EDT) -- Canadian energy giant TransCanada Corp. has spent a total of $6 billion on nine energy projects in late-stage development and plans to spend another $7 billion on them in the next three years, TransCanada said Friday.

In a press release announcing the company's financials for the first quarter of 2012, TransCanada said the nine projects, including the controversial Keystone XL pipeline project, are in the advanced stages of development.
