Farmers Push USDA To OK Dow's Genetically Modified Corn

Law360, New York (April 30, 2012, 5:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture closed the comment period Friday on Dow AgriScience LLC's petition to introduce genetically engineered corn resistant to the herbicide 2,4-D, with the American Farm Bureau Federation arguing that critics of the allegedly toxic chemical were voicing their concerns to the wrong agency.
