US Chamber Backs Toss Of Tyco SOX Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (May 1, 2012, 7:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Monday urged the Third Circuit to uphold the dismissal of an ex-Tyco Electronics Corp. employee's Sarbanes-Oxley Act whistleblower suit, saying a recent U.S. Department of Labor decision relaxing the standard for SOX-protected activity is not owed deference.
