All American Creditors' Request For Stay Denied

Law360 (August 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has denied All American Semiconductor Inc.’s creditors' emergency request to halt objectionable distribution agreements pending an appeal.

On Tuesday, Judge Laurel Myerson Isicoff of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida rejected the request submitted the day before by All American’s official committee of unsecured creditors. The creditors had asked the court to stay the assumption of the distribution agreements while it appeals the court order that approved the deal.
