Court OKs $1B Dutch Gas Project After Enviro Review

Law360, New York (May 2, 2012, 2:10 PM EDT) -- A Dutch court on Wednesday said developers could resume work on a billion-dollar natural gas storage site, striking down concerns over its environmental impact that halted the project in August.

Preliminary activity will resume shortly, according to a statement from Abu Dhabi National Energy Co., known as TAQA, a group working on the €800 million ($1.14 billion) venture with Energie Beheer Nederland BV, a state-owned gas company.
