Dewey Issues WARN Notice Signaling The End Is Near

Law360, New York (May 4, 2012, 6:57 PM EDT) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP issued a state-mandated notice to employees that it planned to lay off staff and could possibly close its doors, indicating the firm’s struggle to survive may be over, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

An inside source told Law360 on Friday that Dewey had sent a memo to employees that it could shutter its business, as required under the New York State Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
