Diamond Expands Recall Of Dog Food Linked To Salmonella

Law360, New York (May 7, 2012, 5:19 PM EDT) -- Diamond Pet Foods Inc. on Saturday expanded a recall of dry dog food linked to a salmonella outbreak, as three other companies launched their own voluntary recalls of products manufactured at a Diamond plant in Gaston, S.C.

After originally pulling three brands of dog food off the shelves, Diamond decided to add six more products manufactured between December and April as a safety measure even though none has tested positive for salmonella, the company said.
