Device Makers Seek More Exemptions From ACA Excise Tax

Law360, New York (May 7, 2012, 7:41 PM EDT) -- Medical device manufacturers urged the Internal Revenue Service to make more products exempt from a 2.3 percent tax on manufacturers, including sample and demonstration products and devices sold over the Internet to consumers, according to comments submitted by a Monday deadline.
