TransCanada To Move On Keystone Terminal In Alberta

Law360, New York (May 9, 2012, 5:47 PM EDT) -- TransCanada Corp. will seek approval from regulators to build and operate an oil terminal in Hardisty, Alberta, that will become the starting point of the Keystone XL pipeline, the company announced Wednesday, saying it had secured enough customer support.

The company said it had received enough binding, long-term commitments exceeding 500,000 barrels daily to move forward with regulatory applications for the Keystone Hardisty Terminal project.
