Maine A.G. Settles Antitrust Claims With Paving Co.

Law360, New York (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Maine's attorney general has reached a settlement agreement with paving company Pike Industries, Inc., over antitrust concerns resulting from a December 2005 purchase of rival Blue Rock Industries.

Attorney General Steven Rowe filed the proposed settlement agreement, as well as the original complaint in Kennebec County Superior Court in Maine, his office confirmed Friday.

The settlement, which still must be approved by the court, is in the form of a consent judgment.
