Cessna Denies Fraud In "Illustrative" Icing Data

Law360 (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cessna Aircraft Co. has denied allegations that it fraudulently made up figures regarding the performance of its model 208B aircraft in icing conditions which led to the deaths of several pilots, claiming that the figures were used for “illustrative purposes only.”

Cessna filed answers to two amended complaints on Friday in a Kansas federal court, disputing claims that pilots depended on figures it provided at pilot training programs to operate the aircraft under icing conditions.
