Nokia Loses Network Patent Appeal In UK Court

Law360, New York (May 10, 2012, 6:54 PM EDT) -- Nokia Corp. suffered a loss Thursday in an ongoing patent battle over mobile networking technology when a U.K. appeals court ruled that the cellphone company infringed IPCom GmbH & Co. KG's protected technology, IPCom said.

The U.K. Court of Appeal upheld a lower court's ruling that Nokia infringed patent-licensing company IPCom's 100A patent, which is registered as European Patent Number EP1841268 and was found by the court to be valid, IPCom confirmed.
