Davis Graham Aids PDC With $331M Buy In Colo. Field

Law360, New York (May 14, 2012, 3:21 PM EDT) -- Oil and gas company Petroleum Development Corp. is picking up $330.6 million worth of assets in a liquids-rich field in Colorado known as Core Wattenberg, expanding its already significant presence in the area, it said Monday.

As part of the deal, the company, also known as PDC Energy, is scooping up 35,000 net acres of prospective land that is already about 94 percent operational. The acquisition increases PDC Energy's investment in the Colorado field by nearly 50 percent, according to the company.
