AstraZeneca Seeks More Dismissals In Seroquel Case

Law360, New York (September 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Drug-maker AstraZeneca LP has asked the court in the case over its bipolar disorder treatment Seroquel to dismiss almost 100 more individual plaintiffs’ cases for failure to comply with a court order.

In three separate motions filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the court overseeing the multidistrict products liability case, AstraZeneca argued that the cases, filed by the law firm Bailey Perrin Bailey LLP, should be dismissed with prejudice.
