Government To Release Nuclear Oversight Papers

Law360, New York (September 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission said Tuesday that it would release up to 1,900 documents regarding a pair of facilities that process highly enriched uranium for the United States Navy.

Since 2004, most information about the agency's oversight of the Nuclear Fuel Services plant in Erwin, Tenn., and the BWX Technologies plant in Lynchburg, Va., has been withheld for security reasons.
