New Century Examiner Requests More Time

Law360 (September 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The examiner appointed to investigate New Century Financial Corp. has requested more time to file his report, saying that the bankrupt subprime lender and its outside auditor have been slow to produce necessary documents and information.

In a motion filed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, New Century’s examiner, Micheal J.
