Acura Recalls Nearly 57K TL Sedans Over Leak, Fire Risk

Law360, Chicago (May 17, 2012, 2:19 PM EDT) -- Honda Motor Co. Ltd.'s Acura unit said Thursday that it is voluntarily recalling 56,881 TL sedans from model years 2007 through 2008 in North America to replace the power steering hose, which the company said can eventually cause fluid leaks and possibly even fires.

Acura said it pulling 52,615 vehicles in the U.S. and 4,266 in Canada because, over time, the power steering hose may deteriorate and develop a leak. No crashes, injuries or fires have been reported in relation to the issue, according to the...
