Thomson Combines Companies To Create World's Largest Trademark Researcher

Law360 (May 10, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Thomson Corporation has combined its trademark research units on three continents to form the world's largest trademark research services company, to be known as Thomson CompuMark, according to the company.

Thomson CompuMark combines the resources of Thomson & Thomson (based in North Quincy, Massachusetts), Compu-Mark (based in Antwerp, Belgium) and Brandy International (based in Tokyo, Japan), all of which are businesses of The Thomson Corporation, the company said.

Thomson CompuMark maintains the world's largest collection of international trademark information, according to the company.
