Ohio Manufacturer Reaches Deal On Factory Pollution Claims

Law360, New York (May 24, 2012, 5:02 PM EDT) -- Ohio manufacturer Johnson Welded Products Inc. has agreed to investigate possible pollution surrounding a factory site under a settlement reached with state environmental authorities, the company's attorney said Thursday.

As part of the deal, Johnson will not admit fault or pay any civil fines in exchange for investigating possible soil and water contamination. The settlement is expected to be filed with a court next week.
