NJ Atty Hits Ex-Firm With Whistleblower Suit Over Runner Use

Law360, New York (May 29, 2012, 6:28 PM EDT) -- A former attorney with Arzadi & Associates has sued the Perth Amboy, N.J.-based personal injury law firm, claiming she was forced out after protesting its potential use of runners to drum up clients.

In a complaint filed May 22, Milagros Alvarez accuses the firm of violating the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, breach of contract and unjust enrichment, according to the complaint in Middlesex County Superior Court.
