Consol Sues Bluestone For Trespassing

Law360, New York (September 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Consol Energy Inc. has sought at least $10 million in a trespassing lawsuit that accuses Bluestone Coal Co. of pumping water from an underground waterway that Consol owns.

According to a complaint filed Monday with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, Bluestone owns the rights to a seam of coal in McDowell County, W.
