Global Power Lodges Chapter 11 Plan

Law360, New York (September 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Global Power Equipment Group Inc. has a filed its Chapter 11 plan and disclosure statement after almost a year in bankruptcy, following an agreement reached in August with key constituencies on the terms of the company's emergence.

On Monday, Global Power filed the plan and disclosure statement in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. A hearing before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Brendan L. Shannon to consider the adequacy of the disclosure statement is slated for Oct. 9, according to court papers.
