Lawmaker Blasts NIH For Funding Doc With Glaxo Conflict

Law360, New York (May 30, 2012, 1:20 PM EDT) -- A top U.S. senator on Tuesday ripped the National Institutes of Health for awarding a $400,000 grant to a psychiatrist previously banned from receiving NIH funds for not disclosing financial ties to GlaxoSmithKline PLC while leading a study involving the drugmaker’s antidepressant Paxil.
