Suit Challenges Construction Of Minn. Steel Mill

Law360, New York (September 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An environmental group has hit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources with a lawsuit for approving a new steel mill without first examining its impact on global warming.

In a complaint filed Monday with the Minnesota District Court for the County of Itasca, the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy alleged that the DNR committed a major error in its environmental impact statement by not looking at climate change.
