Best Buy Must Face Age Bias Charges: Judge

Law360 (September 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied a bid by superstore Best Buy Corp. to toss a former manager’s age discrimination claims, ruling that summary judgment was not warranted.

In a decision handed down Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, Judge Michael J. Davis denied Best Buy’s motion for summary judgment after finding that questions of material fact exist as to the real motive for the discharge of plaintiff James Diesing.
