Philippine Wind Farm Co. Calls For Feed-In Tariff Rates

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 5:21 PM EDT) -- PetroEnergy Resources Corp.'s 50-megawatt Philippine wind power project cleared a critical environmental regulatory hurdle Tuesday, prompting the upstream oil outfit to renew its call for the government to set feed-in tariff rates to support renewable energy projects.

The Nabas wind power project, developed by PetroEnergy subsidiary PetroGreen Energy Corp., recently secured an environmental compliance certificate from the Philippines' Department of Environment and Natural Resources regional authority, the parent company said in a June 5 statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange Inc.
