Poland To Sell 100-MW Hydro Plant to Czech Utility Co.

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 5:09 PM EDT) -- The Poland Ministry of Treasury has reached a preliminary agreement to sell a 100-megawatt hydroelectric power plant in southern Poland to Czech Republic-based utility company Energo-Pro SA, the Polish ministry said Tuesday.

Energo-Pro will acquire the Niedzica plant, located in the Pieniny Mountains in south Poland, through its subsidiary Cambert Investments Ltd. The Energo-Pro subsidiary will purchase an undisclosed number of shares in ZEW Niedzica SA, the financial entity that owns the plant, the ministry said.
