AMD Attacks Intel Over E-Mail Losses

Law360, New York (September 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The cataclysmic failure of Intel Corp. to keep records for discovery in an antitrust case has called into question the company's commitment to preserving potentially crucial evidence, its rival said Wednesday.

The amount of evidence lost in the case as a result of e-mail retention lapses by the microprocessor giant has far exceeded anything the company hinted at when it first made its stunning admission six months ago, said chip maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
