QVC Recalls Convection Ovens Over Fire Danger

Law360, New York (September 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- QVC and Keystone Manufacturing Co. Inc. have issued a voluntary recall of some 32,000 convection ovens due to concerns over fire and electrical shock hazards.

The ovens, sold under the names Cook's Essentials Convection Ovens with Pull-Out Rotisserie and Deni Convection Ovens with Rotisserie, are retailed by QVC and distributed by Keystone.

According to a notice issued Wednesday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, wires behind the control panel on the convection oven can overheat, exposing consumers to fire and electrical shock hazards.
