Honda Sues Chinese Motorcycle Makers Over Trademarks

Law360, New York (November 17, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Honda Motor of Japan is suing two motorcycle makers in Chongqing, China over alleged trademark infringement, China Daily reported Monday.

The first hearing was held Sunday at the Beijing No 2 Intermediate People's Court, China Daily said. One of the accused, the Chongqing Lifan Motor Factory, was not present in court. The other defendant is the Chongqing Lifan Industrial Group, a separate company.
