Rolex Loses Bid To Block Ralph Lauren From RLX Mark

Law360, New York (June 11, 2012, 8:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled Thursday that Ralph Lauren Corp.'s RLX-brand sportswear and apparel does not infringe Rolex Watch USA Inc.'s trademark, shooting down the watchmaker's claims that the mark would create confusion amongst consumers.
