Reid Pushes For Bipartisan Answer To Cybersecurity Threats

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 9:14 PM EDT) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., on Tuesday called on Republicans and Democrats to collaborate on cybersecurity legislation to address the looming threat of attacks on key infrastructure, and faulted some of his Republican colleagues for failing to take that threat seriously.

Speaking on the Senate floor, Reid said that national security heavyweights, like Central Intelligence Agency Director David Petraeus and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, have put malicious cyber attacks among the most urgent threats facing the U.S.
